Weather
Concerts are rain or shine!
Bring your ponchos and/or smaller umbrellas if there’s a high probability of rain. Please be courteous to your neighbors by not blocking their views with large or golf umbrellas.
Our weather policy states if there is inclement weather in our area, the concert will be delayed until the threat has passed. The decision to continue a concert after adverse weather passes will be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on consultation with appropriate weather experts.
If a storm or tornado arises, guests will be escorted into the Schneider Education Center and Fischer Visitor Center and if the concert needs to end, there will be no refunds.
Accessibility
Parking Staff will direct concertgoers with vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking areas (18 available spots). Guests can pull into the Garden’s circle driveway to drop off other guests. Once guests check in, they can ask for a golf cart ride from the Fischer Visitor Center down to the Schneider Family Grand Garden.
It is our intent to make every concert experience accessible to every guest. Green Bay Botanical Garden is an accessible facility and proudly complies with ADA regulations. We encourage all guests with special needs to contact the Garden’s Events Team at 920.491.3691 ext. 118 and every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the need. As accommodations are limited, we can better serve those who assist us with advance coordination.
Barrier-free and ADA areas are in the Fischer Overlook Arbor. Guests wishing to sit in one of these areas may be accompanied by a companion (or more if room is available). In addition, staff will be located on the Mabel Thome Patio to offer beverage service to guests.
Guests using wheelchairs have priority—a very limited number of wheelchairs are available to use at the Garden on a first-come, first-served basis.
A golf cart will assist guests with mobility needs around the Schneider Family Grand Garden from the lower level patio to the Concessions Building, Cowles Terrace, etc. during the concert and after the concert. This service is provided to Garden guests with mobility issues. Service starts when doors open and is located by the light pole at the Johnson Woodland Garden entrance. The service will last 30 minutes after the concert ends to help with shuttling guests back up to the lower level patio.
To reserve your ADA seat ahead of time, contact us at 920.491.3691 ext. 118.
