Welcome mushrooms into your garden! Explore new findings that Wine Cap Mushrooms can be used to reduce plant disease, suppress weeds and even improve the nutrients in the soil. Together, we’ll plant a Wine Cap Mushroom bed and you’ll get few mushrooms to take home.

Enhance your next visit with a guided tour through Green Bay Botanical Garden!  Stop by on Mondays at 11 am for an hour-long Express Garden Tour. Trained guides will share stories about the Garden and its special features. You will be guided through our upper gardens, including the Larsen Remnant Orchard, Schierl Wellhouse & Garden, Kress Oval Garden, Vanderperren English Cottage Garden, Lux Foundation Upper Rose Garden and more. Even stop by the new Grand Garden for a sneak peek of what’s to come this fall.

Tours are on a first come, first served basis, up to 20 people. Free with Garden Admission.

Amy Wilde, Castle Art & Import LLC

Amy Wilde and her company, Castle Art & Import LLC, has been importing Henna since 1997. She has facilitated workshops and programs since 2003. This program focuses on the beautiful art of Mehndi (or henna). First, Amy will enlighten you with the rich history and traditions of henna, including its uses on hair and skin. Next, she will demonstrate how to make henna paste for body art and instruct in its application. Lastly, supplies will be passed out for participants to use on each other and Amy will put a medium design on each participant. This is a great program for all ages, parents and kids eight years old and up.
