For 30 years, members have been at the heart of Green Bay Botanical Garden. You’ve explored with us, celebrated with us, shared the Garden with people you love, and helped this special place grow and flourish.
This September, it’s our turn to celebrate you!
Join us September 20–26 for Rooted Together: Member Appreciation Week, featuring special experiences, extra perks, treats, giveaways, and a few surprises along the way — all created to thank you for being part of our Garden community.
Member Appreciation Week perks and activities are available to current Green Bay Botanical Garden members. The Garden remains open to all guests during regular hours.

Sunday, September 20 | Poppin’ Family Fun
8 am–4 pm
Kick off the week with a little family fun! Enjoy complimentary popsicles while supplies last and lawn games in the Grand Garden.
Come early for Members-Only Hour or stop by anytime throughout the day.
Monday, September 21 | Thyme to Share Snippet Exchange
1–3 pm | Simurdiak Patio
Have something growing that’s worth sharing?
Bring a plant cutting, herb, or garden snippet to swap with fellow members on the Simurdiak Patio. Members of our Horticulture Team will pop in throughout the afternoon to share their expertise, answer questions, and talk plants.
Snippet Exchange Tips: Please bring healthy, pest-free plant material to share. If possible, label your snippet with the plant name and any helpful growing information.
Don’t have something to swap? You’re still welcome to stop by, talk plants, and join the fun!
Tuesday, September 22 | Putting the Garden to Bed Tour
5–6:30 pm
Stroll through the Garden with Mark Konlock, Director of Horticulture, and discover what really happens when the growing season winds down.
Learn how the Garden’s approach to fall cleanup has changed, what you can do differently at home to make a positive impact on the environment, and how our Horticulture Team prepares the Garden for its long winter’s nap.

Wednesday, September 23 | Our Own Eras Tour
10–11:30 am
Thirty years. Plenty of eras.
Celebrate the Garden’s 30th anniversary with Linda Gustke, Director of Education, as your guide through the people, milestones, and stories that have shaped Green Bay Botanical Garden.
