Early Coffee Stroll in the Garden | 8–9 am
Wake up with the Garden. Enjoy a peaceful morning stroll with a cup of coffee in hand to listen to the birds, watch the bees at work, and catch the Horticulture Team as they begin their day.
Face Painting | 9:30–11 am
Let imaginations run wild with face painting for kids! Choose from a variety of fun, nature-inspired designs and add a touch of whimsy to your Woodland Wonders day.
Story Time | 10–10:30 am
Gather for a cozy story time designed for young guests, featuring nature-inspired tales that spark imagination and curiosity. A perfect pause in the day to listen, learn, and enjoy the magic of storytelling.
Lemonade with Laura | 12 pm
Take a break and join Laura Nelson M.D., President & CEO, for a relaxed and welcoming conversation. Enjoy popcorn and a refreshing glass of lemonade or butterfly tea while connecting, asking questions, and learning more about the Garden.
FULL: Arbor Tour | 1:30–2:30 pm
Take a walk among the trees with Glenn Spevacek, former Executive Director and tree expert, and discover what makes the Garden’s woody plants so special. Along the way, explore seasonal highlights, unique specimens, and the stories that bring the landscape to life, weather permitting. Must register for this tour as space is limited.
Thibby’s Ice Cream Truck | 2–5 pm
Cool off with a sweet treat ($) from Thibby’s Ice Cream Truck, stopping by the Garden for the afternoon.
Spring Blooms Tour | 5-6:30 pm
Have you ever wondered where all the plants for the Garden are grown? Join Mark Konlock, Director of Horticulture, for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Horticulture production area and get a sneak peek of the 20,000 plus annuals and perennials waiting to be planted in the Garden!
We’ll end with a tour of Magnolia Grove and the spring bulbs, which (weather permitting) should be giving us a colorful show! Must register for this tour as space is limited.
Meet the Artists & Community Art Experience | Throughout the Day
Connect with artists featured in Woodland Wonders as they spend time near their pieces throughout the day. Learn more about the inspiration behind their work, ask questions, and experience the art through their eyes.
While you explore, be part of something growing! Contribute to our interactive Community Garden Garland by adding your own “link” and help bring this community-inspired piece to life.
Bottle Cap Mural Unveiling | Throughout the Day
Be among the first to see our refreshed bottle cap mural, reimagined this year to reflect the spirit of Woodland Wonders. This creative, community-inspired piece adds a colorful and meaningful touch to the Garden. Stop by to take a look and even add some of the first caps as part of our member community.
Lawn Games & Bubble Fun | Throughout the Day
Relax and play in the Schneider Family Grand Garden with classic lawn games and whimsical bubble stations for all ages. Whether you’re looking to unwind between activities or simply enjoy the sunshine, this space offers a fun, easy going way to experience the Garden together.
