Cooking in the Garden with Chef Ace Champion

Join local celebrity chef, Chef Ace Champion, for a Garden cooking demonstration! He’ll prepare a 2-course meal with some audience participation and everyone will enjoy a light tasting.

Chef Ace Champion comes from the great food state of Louisiana, specializing in Cajun/Creole–the taste of New Orleans! Chef Champion has over 20 years of culinary experience including titles of Cook Like A. Champion TV series Host, Executive Chef, Personal Chef, Certified Meat Cutter, Event Coordinator as well as Cooking Class Instructor. He is also an honors Culinary Arts graduate of Fox Valley Technical College, one of the nation’s premiere culinary schools.

• Bourbon Pecan Chicken with Praline Reduction Sauce
Chicken breast, praline sauce with pecans, butter, brown sugar, and rum

• Cherry Cream Apple Pie with Moscato Caramel Rum Sauce
A layer of apple pie as the base then topped with a thin layer of cream cheese, cherry pie pastry, and Moscato Carmel rum sauce.
