Great American Backyard Campout
Saturday, June 22; 4 pm–Sunday, June 23; 10 am
Set up camp and get ready for an evening of nature crafts, hikes, games, dinner, astronomy, a campfire program and s’mores. Then wake up to the sounds of the birds, enjoy breakfast with new friends, and try your hand at bird-watching before packing up.
Campout Schedule
Saturday, June 22
4-6 pm Check In and Camp Set Up
On Your Own Activities:
- nature hikes at 4:30 pm, 5:15 pm
- nature crafts
- outdoor group games
- sign up/prepare for a campfire song or skit
6-7 pm Dinner
7-8 pm Night Hike, Prepare for Campfire, Quiet Time
8-9 pm Campfire Program
9-9:30 pm S’mores, Astronomy Stories
10 pm LIGHTS OUT!
Sunday, June 23
7:30 am Wake Up Bell!
7:30-9:30 am Breakfast and Pack Up
8-10 am On Your Own Activities:
- outdoor group games
- bird watching
- scavenger hunt
- nature crafts
10 am Thank you and Good Bye!
