Matching Fund Gifts
A Matching Gift is a charitable contribution made on the condition that it is matched by an equivalent amount to be given by somebody else. Gifts may be given for a specific purpose or part of an existing fund drive.
One example of a general gift came from the newly formed 'Founder’s Circle' that created a matching grant to encourage giving for the Annual Fund Appeal.
