Special Event Volunteer Opportunities for Adults

GBBG holds several special events that allow people to come and experience the garden in a variety of unique and exciting ways. The success of these events depends on the time and talents of our volunteers.

Home and Garden Show - Promote GBBG by greeting the public, answering questions and handing out brochures in our GBBG sponsored booth. Volunteers Needed: Greeters

Cocoa Bean Mulch Sale - Assist in filling orders and loading bags of mulch and soil into customer vehicles. Volunteers Needed: Order takers and loaders

24th Annual Garden Fair - Featuring over 100 vendors of plants, landscaping ideas, accessories, gardening demonstrations and presentations, music and food.

20th Annual Garden Walk - A rare opportunity for the general public to explore 6 private gardens in the Green Bay area and also to visit our showcase gardens at GBBG.

Concerts In The Garden - Enjoy music in the lovely setting of the Agnes Schneider Terrace. Volunteers Needed: Admissions, Concessions, Traffic Control, Wrap Up.

Special Event Volunteer Opportunities for High School Students

High School Students (grades 9 - 12) are very important to the success of Green Bay Botanical Garden's special events. Students will receive credit towards community service requirements for all work performed.

The positions available vary at each event but include greeting and directing guests, directing traffic, setting-up and taking down equipment, preparing snacks, confirming sales, and maintaining events grounds.
