Get to know Green Bay Botanical Garden with your family. Check out a S.E.E.D. Pack to help you Search, Explore, Experience and Discover the Garden.
Within the Packs are short lessons accompanied by a hands-on activity. These activities include games, scavenger hunts and observation activities that encourage users to explore the Garden more closely. Do as many activities as you have time for.
Completing the activities together will help develop an understanding of and appreciation for the natural world in both children and adults and enhance communication and family bonds.
S.E.E.D. Pack Themes
Discovery – The activities in this pack are suitable for even our preschool age visitors and will bring you to the many gardens we have and help you explore them more closely.
Gardening – Discover what it takes to be a gardener by learning what plants need to grow, searching for different types of veggies and planting your own garden.
Birds and Butterflies – Use the equipment in this pack to learn more about our winged friends that live in the Garden.
Forestry – Find out why trees are so important and learn how to identify the trees in the Garden. Even older children will be challenged to find the height of a tree and use their reasoning skills to tell the story of a tree’s life.
