Parents & Kids

Green Bay Botanical Garden has a host of fun and educational activities and programs for parents & kids.

Children's Garden

Green Bay Botanical Garden boasts one of the best Children's Garden around.  For more information on the Gertrude B. Nielsen Children's Garden, click here.

Children's Library

Green Bay Botanical Garden's Children’s Library is located in the lower level of the Visitors’ Center.  Our library contains books and stories about plants, insects, frogs, birds, nature and more.  Visitors are welcome to browse through the books while in the library, and members of Green Bay Botanical Garden can check out books free of charge for a period of two weeks.  In the Children’s Library, kids will also find puppets and puzzles to play with, and activity sheets to take home.

Stop by for a visit or to cool off after a walk in the garden!

Feats of Family Fun

Attend a class full of family fun!  These programs are designed to provide outdoor experiences for children of all ages to enjoy with a special adult.  In past summers we’ve enjoyed a scavenger hunt, collecting monarch caterpillars, bird watching, tie-dying, baking, and more.  Offerings change each summer so the fun continues.  For more information on our Feats of Family Fun program, click here.
