For Immediate Release
November 3rd, 2009
Green Bay, Wis. – Green Bay Botanical Garden is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers to make it the BEAUTY that it is. Every year volunteers log approximately 10,000 hours at the Garden.
The Garden recently honored its volunteers and selected five Volunteers of the Year including a Corporate Volunteer of the Year. The volunteers were presented with a plaque and small gift as a token of appreciation at Green Bay Botanical Garden’s Annual Meeting on October 27th. Executive Director Susan Garot says, “The Garden would absolutely not exist without the dedication of time, talent and treasure given by our volunteers.”
