Group Visits

Green Bay Botanical Garden is pleased to invite you to enjoy beauty, nature, and the companionship of your favorite friends in a group visit to GBBG. We offer several different kinds of experiences for groups: self-guided visits, guided group tours, and group learning experiences.
 
Self-Guided Visits

It’s simple: your group, a beautiful setting, and as much time as your group wants to spend. Your group can pick up GBBG maps at the Visitors’ Center and wander formal gardens, native plantings, wooded trails and the Children’s Garden at their own pace.

    * Admission fees are collected upon arrival.
    * Call for our current hours and special event schedule.
    * Fees: groups of 1-25 people - $7.00/adult, $2/child age,
                  groups of 26+ people - $5/adult, $2/child age 5-12

Guided Group Tours

A knowledgeable guide will lead your group through GBBG’s gardens and trails, show you delicate flowers and answer many questions about the Garden. The guides can stay for up to ninety minutes of touring: you are welcome to stay even longer if your group is interested!

    * Four weeks notice is required to ensure the availability of guides.
    * A $60 deposit is required in advance. The deposit is credited to you at the tour date.
    * A minimum of 10 people are required for a guided tour.
    * Call for our current hours and special event schedule.
    * Fees: groups of 1-25 people - $8.00/person, groups of 26-50 people - $7.50/person, groups of 51+
       people - $7.00/person

Group Learning Experiences

If your group is ready to learn, do and experience, consider asking for a list of available group learning experiences. Many are simple lessons, others require a little classroom time; all are designed to engage and encourage an interested audience.

    * Please request a list of current Group Learning Experiences from the GBBG education department.
    * Four weeks notice is required to plan and staff the program: availability may be limited.
    * A $60 deposit is required in advance. The deposit is credited to you the date of the program.
    * A minimum of 10 people are required for a group learning experience.
    * Programs are available seasonally and offered subject to teacher availability.
    * Cost, preferred group size and program length depend on the program desired.

Making Reservations for your Group to Visit

    * Contact the Education Department at 920-491-3691 ext. 107 with information about your group,
       tour date, and tour type.
    * Tours are offered rain or shine, please dress appropriately.
    * The Visitors’ Center and many garden areas are accessible to people with physical disabilities.
       A limited number of wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are available on a first-come,
       first-served basis.
    * Picnicking is allowed, but GBBG’s picnic tables are not sheltered. Our Visitors’ Center classroom may
       be rented for lunch at a cost of $25/hour.
