Summer Day Camp

Camp GBBG - Junior Horticulturist 

Plant, grow and care for the Garden just like our horticulturists! Visit the greenhouse and use the tools of the trade. Discover ways to grow plants using seeds, stems and roots. Work with our gardeners out among the flowers and create plantings to take home. Come ready for camp games, crafts and some dirty fun!

Session 1: Ages 6–9 *This session is now open to ages 6 - 12 
July 21 – July 25; 9:30 am–Noon

CANCELLED - Session 2: Ages 10–12
July 28 – August 1, 9:30 am–Noon

GBBG Members: $65
Non-Members: $85
Pre-registration required – Limit 20 children/session

Camp GBBG - Garden to Table

Discover the many plants we eat while you improve your skills as both a gardener and cook.  Help in the Garden, harvest fresh produce and prepare a healthy snack!


July 8 - Strawberry Jam

July 15 - Herb Cookies

August 5 - Veggie Pizzas

August 12 - Tomato Bruchetta


Drop-Off classes (children ages 8-12 without an adult): Tuesdays, 9:30 am-12 pm

Family classes (all ages with an adult): Tuesdays, 6:00-8 pm


GBBG Members: $13/day; $47 for all days

Non-members: $17/day; $62 for all days
