How to Sign Up For a Guided Tour

The cost of a tour is the Program Fee plus an admission fee.

1. To request a date and time for visiting the Garden, contact Green Bay Botanical Garden's School Tour Coordinator at (920) 491-3691 ext. 107 (or email schooltours@gbbg.org). Be sure to have a few dates that will work for your group in case your first choice is unavailable.

2. Tours must be arranged at least four weeks in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your program fee is calculated based on the number of guides you need. Each guide costs $25 with a limit of 15 students and 3 adults per guide. Up to three guides can be scheduled at once; no more than 45 students and 9 adults at one time. (Adults include teachers, aides, parents, and bus drivers.) What programs can I choose from?

3. All Program Fees must be received by Green Bay Botanical Garden to guarantee your tour date and time. When you call, the School Tour Coordinator can put a ten day courtesy hold on your tour date. If all Program Fees are not received within ten days, the tour slot will be available to others.

4. You may send in a registration form with the down payment or pay over the phone with a credit card. If you wish to receive pre- and post-visit material, please let the School Tour Coordinator know or check the box on the registration form. When payment is received, you will receive a confirmation and visitor guidelines.

5. The admission fees will be collected the day of the tour. The admission fee is $2.00 for each student and each adult. Admission fees are not waived. Remember: one tour guide is limited to 15 students and up to 3 adults. Two tour guides are limited to 30 students and up to 6 adults and three tour guides are limited to 45 students and up to 9 adults. Payment may be received in check, cash or credit card.

6. The teacher in charge should enter the building and pay the admission fees in full before the students exit the bus. Once the admission fees are paid, the groups will begin their tour. Please arrive on time for your tour. Since there may be other tours scheduled for the day, we will not be able to begin a tour early nor spend time beyond what is scheduled if your group arrives late.
