Family Weed N' Feed
Make volunteering a family affair! Teach your children about the joys of volunteering while having fun and helping the Garden. We’ll work on family-friendly projects, then enjoy a tasty meal.
You weed or do other garden chores from 5-7 pm, we feed from 7-8 pm.
2012 dates: June 13, July 11, August 8 and September 12
Due to the garden work involved, children should be at least 6 years of age. In order to provide enough food, please RSVP to Kelle at (920) 491-3691 ext. 107.
S.E.E.D. Packs
S.E.E.D. Packs are activity filled backpacks created in four main themes: Discovery, Gardening, Birds and Butterflies, and Forestry. Within the Packs are short lessons that give participants some background information about a topic relating to the theme of the Pack, accompanied by a hands-on activity. For more information on S.E.E.D. Packs, click here.
Children's Garden Story Hour
Take a break in the Children’s Garden for nature themed stories and activities.

Children's Library in the Bill & Pat Larsen Children's Corner
The reading loft in the Bill and Pat Larsen Children’s Corner is now open! Stop out and be the first to read a book while lounging on a bean bag chair, put together a giant puzzle, play a garden game with your family, or put on a puppet show. This newly expanded indoor children’s area will provide a quiet place to cool down during the summer or a cozy spot to warm up after a walk in the winter garden.
GBBG’s Children’s Library, located in the Children’s Corner, is stocked with stories about plants, insects, frogs, birds, nature, gardening and more. Visitors are welcome to browse through the books while in the Children’s Corner, while GBBG members can check out books free for a two-week period.
Happy imagining!
