Help bring Wedding History to the Garden!
Weddings through the Years
We need your help bringing wedding history to the Garden! We'll be decorating our new dressing room with photos from every decade of the 1900’s. Our hope is to have 2 or 3 portraits from each decade, to show how fashion and bouquets have changed over the years. All photos will be matted and framed, with the name and date in calligraphy.
Please submit a black and white photo no larger than 5x7 of the bride or bride and groom. All photos will be considered, but we will be making final choices based on the years of each wedding and style of dress.
Submission forms are available at the front desk in the Visitor Center. Please include a $25.00 donation (in the form of a check made out to GBBG) to cover the cost of framing. If your photo is not chosen, the donation and photo can be returned.
