(Green Bay, WI) – Back by popular demand, Green Bay Botanical Garden is once again offering its Soup With Substance series starting Friday, January 27th. This event includes recreation, education, music and food. Hike, snowshoe or blaze your own cross country skiing trail on the 47 acres of natural beauty at Green Bay Botanical Garden. Then come inside the Education Center to warm up with hot soup and hearty bread. Enjoy a topical lecture by local experts and relax to the soothing sounds of live music. The event runs every other Friday from January 27th through March 23th from 5:30-8 pm. The schedule includes the following topical lectures and local live music:

Lecture: Phenology: The What and When of Nature by Dennis Prusik
Music: Lee Alex & Lloyd Gosz (Musical Comedy & Variety Show)
Friday, February 10
Lecture: Kitchen Wizardry with Household Herbs by Jackie Johnson

Friday, February 24
Lecture: Build It and They Will Come–The Story of GBBG by Susan Garot & Betty Pearson

Admission includes soup, lecture and music for the specified date.
